Outdated View

Outdated View is an alternative rock band from Akron, Ohio, formed in 2015 by four musicians united by a love for playing and creating music together. The group’s beginnings were humble, with early days spent in Kenmore basements covering blues and rock classics before evolving into crafting their own original material. Their sound is a lively blend of energetic alternative rock, blues tones, and touches of progressive and psychedelic rock. The band’s lineup consists of Matthew Shewbridge on lead guitar, Matt Pentello on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Jake Henze on bass guitar and backing vocals, and Nate Oliver on drums and percussion. Over the years, Outdated View has shared their music throughout Ohio, and with recent releases such as “Through The Beginning,” “Escape,” “Jam Sandwich,” and “Brujita,” they continue to bring their dynamic live energy to audiences both near and far.
