The Briggs

The Briggs is an American punk rock band formed in 2001, known for their rousing punk anthems and social commentary, often delivered with a melodic yet raucous style. Originating from Los Angeles, California, the band consists of brothers Joey and Jason LaRocca at the helm, with Joey on vocals and guitar and Jason on lead guitar. They were joined by bassist Duck Matthews and drummer Chris Arredondo, solidifying a lineup that would go on to deliver their high-energy punk sound to a growing fan base.

With their roots deeply planted in the punk rock tradition, The Briggs gained recognition for their politically charged lyrics and relentless live performances. Their discography, which includes titles like "Come All You Madmen" and "Back To Higher Ground," reflects an evolution in sound and sophistication without losing the gritty authenticity that defines the genre. Noteworthy singles such as "Control Alt-Right Delete” display the band's continued relevance and willingness to address contemporary issues head-on. Their versatile musical output ranges from powerful full-length albums to poignant singles like "Panic!" and a punk-infused holiday track, "Silent Night (Not So Silent!)" - Single. The Briggs' ability to stay true to their punk roots while engaging with the social discourse of the day has cemented their status as mainstays in the modern punk rock scene.
