DJ Nomi

DJ Nomi is a vibrant figure in the Berlin music scene, born in Stuttgart with Ghanaian roots. She has established herself as a versatile and trailblazing DJ, playing a diverse range of genres including Afrobeats, Hip Hop, RnB, Soul, Funk, House, Dancehall, and Pop. Nomi began her career in music after moving to Berlin in 2011 and launching her own event series "Afro Heat" (now known as Freak de l’Afrique). She has performed at numerous renowned venues in Berlin, such as Gretchen, Avenue, Prince Charles, Weekend Club, Soho House, and Watergate, as well as internationally in cities like Warsaw, Luanda, Accra, Madrid, Zurich, Dubai, and New York.

Beyond her dynamic performances, DJ Nomi is also known for her resilience in the male-dominated DJ world. She is a single mother, balancing her career with family life and proving that both passions can coexist successfully. Nomi's journey is marked by determination and a strong passion for music, making her a pioneering figure in the Berlin club scene.
