Nekrodeus

Nekrodeus is an Austrian band from Graz, formed in 2013, known for blending genres like black metal, death metal, sludgecore, hardcore punk, and grindcore into a fierce and creative musical mix. The lineup includes Stefan Rindler on vocals, Sebastian Lackner on guitar (also live for Ellende), Paul Färber on drums (also in Karg and live for Harakiri for the Sky), and Lukas Benedicic on bass. Over the years, they've released a demo, an EP ("Putrid Scent of Grave Perversion"), and full-length albums including *Moloch* (2018), *Asbest* (2022), and their latest *Ruaß* (2025). Their music is marked by socially critical lyrics and an aggressive, raw sound that fuses intense riffs with moody atmospheres and punk influences.

They've carved out a unique niche in the Austrian metal scene, with *Ruaß* described as a shapeshifting feast of crusty black metal punk that resonates on both a primal and intellectual level. The band members’ involvement in other notable projects adds to their dynamic energy, and their evolving style keeps pushing boundaries while staying rooted in heavy, hardcore-driven metal.
