Trio Lirico

Trio Lirico is a renowned string ensemble known for its exceptional chamber music performances. Founded in 2014, the trio initially consisted of violinist Franziska Pietsch, violist Sophia Reuter, and cellist Johannes Krebs. Over the years, the ensemble has evolved with different members, including Israeli cellist Hila Karni and, more recently, violist Atilla Aldemir and cellist Arne-Christian Pelz. Trio Lirico is celebrated for its passionate interpretations and unique blend of classical and contemporary music, with a repertoire that spans from Mozart to modern compositions. Their recordings have garnered significant attention and have been nominated for prestigious awards, such as the ICMA and the German Record Critics' Award.

Recent projects include the live recording of "Spanish Piano Quartets" at the Fundación Juan March, performed alongside pianist Josu de Solaun. This collaboration highlights the trio's ability to adapt and expand their musical scope, incorporating other artists and styles into their performances. With a commitment to exploring both timeless masterpieces and contemporary works, Trio Lirico continues to captivate audiences worldwide with its dynamic and expressive performances.
