Syndemic

Syndemic is a Progressive/Melodic Death Metal band from Hamburg, Germany, formed in 2011. The band gained attention after releasing a demo in 2012 and went on to release their debut full-length album, "For Those in Desperation," in 2014. Syndemic's sound blends traditional melodic death metal elements with modern speed and atmospheric nuances, drawing comparisons to bands like Amorphis and Sentenced. Their music often features complex arrangements and dynamic shifts between aggressive and introspective moments.

In 2017, Syndemic released their album "Annihilate the I," which further showcased their ability to blend heavy, progressive elements with melodic passages. Tracks like "Exileseeker" and "Ruins" highlight the band's capacity for crafting intense, atmospheric soundscapes. Syndemic has performed at notable festivals, solidifying their presence in the metal scene with their energetic live performances. The band's lineup includes Daniel Boretzky on vocals, Mikis Trimborn and Julian Kraus on guitars, Maximilian Pannenberg on bass, and Janis Freund on drums.
