Bleeker

Bleeker, a Canadian rock band hailing from Orillia, Ontario, has been a continually evolving presence in the music scene since their formation. Originally known as Bleeker Ridge, the band was formed by two sets of brothers, Taylor and Cole Perkins alongside Dan and Dustin Steinke. This early configuration saw success in the Canadian market with their initial works, but it was their rebranding as simply Bleeker in 2016 and the transition to a trio—with Taylor Perkins as the lead vocalist, Cole Perkins on guitar, and Mike Van Dyk on bass—that signified a turning point in their career. They parted ways with one set of brothers and streamlined their name, leading to a more distinct, bold sound that's captured audiences internationally.

Bleeker's sound is characterized by gritty, catchy hooks, and an energetic blend of rock and roll with a modern twist, often infusing elements of indie and alternative rock. Their most recent releases demonstrate a continued dedication to a hard-hitting, melodic sound, with tracks like "Walken," "Straight For The Money," and "Highway" serving as strong contributions to the current rock landscape. Notably, their track "Highway" from the album "Erase You" has been a notable hit, securing their status as a band with both critical acclaim and commercial appeal. Their music, often rich with lyrical narratives and anthemic choruses, has continued to evolve, cementing Bleeker's reputation as a dynamic force within the rock genre.
