Geeks on Gig

Geeks on Gig is an Indonesian Pop Punk/Alternative Rock band hailing from Surabaya. The group blends early 2000s pop punk influences with elements of emo rock, J-rock, and indie rock to create their unique sound. Originally formed by childhood friends Ifad and Bimo after moving from Tangerang Selatan to Surabaya for college, the band's current lineup includes Alexander Renaldo on bass and vocals, Alwin Idris on guitar, keyboard, and vocals, and Bimo Taufan Devara on drums. Their name reflects the idea that even "geeks" can take the stage and rock out.

The band has been actively releasing music, with tracks like "Ragam," "Fase Berganti," and "Flying V" among their recent offerings. In 2022, they released a remastered version of "She's The Only Twist That I Will Ever Wish," which was part of their debut EP "Big Eyeglasses". Geeks on Gig continues to make waves in the Surabaya indie scene, blending nostalgic sounds with contemporary elements.
