Hugo Strasser und die Heinrich Haas jr. Combo was a German big band led by saxophonist Hugo Strasser and trumpeter Heinrich Haas Jr. The band was founded in 1949 and quickly became one of the most popular big bands in Germany. They were known for their swinging sound and their repertoire of popular songs and jazz standards. The band recorded over 50 albums and toured extensively throughout Europe and the United States. They were also featured in several films and television shows. Hugo Strasser und die Heinrich Haas jr. Combo disbanded in 1988, but their music continues to be enjoyed by fans around the world.
