Bad Posture Club

Bad Posture Club is a Minneapolis-based queer folk duo made up of Maren Day and Morgan Kavanagh. They first met in high school through choir and have maintained a close friendship with music being a big part of their connection, eventually forming Bad Posture Club as a band. Their music is deeply personal and reflective, with songs like "Walking Teacher" inspired by Maren’s experience with her mother’s stroke and slow recovery, illustrating the emotional honesty in their songwriting.

Over the years, they have released several albums and singles, including *Volume I* (2018), *A Place Between* (2021), *My Good, My Sweet, My Bright* (2022), and the upcoming *Affinity* album set for release in July 2025. Their sound blends gentle folk melodies with thoughtful lyrics, earning a dedicated following in the indie folk scene.
