Red Pèrill, whose real name is Marc Mateu Salat, is a musician and composer from Igualada, Spain, born on July 1, 1980. He combines influences from jazz, rock, funk, and electronic music to create a unique sound. Red Pèrill began his solo career in 2014 with the release of his album *Planeta Crunch*, followed by *Enemics de l'anar fent* in 2016. He continued to evolve with the release of *Aquari/Safari* in 2020, which was divided into two EPs. His music often includes reflective lyrics that critique societal norms. Red Pèrill has also composed soundtracks for projects like the short film *A Hotel Room Story* and the video game *Max Mix Game 3D*. He announced his retirement from performing under the Red Pèrill name in November 2022.
