Gaêlica

Gaêlica is a three-person Celtic, folk, and world music band with a rich history spanning over two decades. Initially formed in Venezuela, the group is now based in Miami, Florida. The band members include Daniela Padrón on fiddle and vocals, Gabriel Figueira on bagpipes, woodwinds, percussion, and vocals, and Rubén Gutiérrez on guitar, percussion, and vocals. Gaêlica combines Celtic music with Venezuelan and Latin influences, creating a unique sound that blends traditional and modern elements. They have released five studio albums and have been nominated for a Latin Grammy in the Best Folk Album category. Their performances have taken them across the United States, Latin America, and Europe, where they showcase both original compositions and reimagined traditional tunes.

Gaêlica's music often reflects a fusion of cultures, blending the storytelling traditions of Celtic folk with the lively rhythms of Latin America. This blend has allowed them to establish a strong reputation as innovative artists in the folk music scene. Despite their geographical origins in Venezuela, their current base in Miami has further diversified their cultural influences, contributing to a distinct musical style that appeals to a broad audience.
