Canay Doğan

Canay Doğan is a versatile Turkish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist known for blending Electro Pop, Alternative Pop, and Synth Pop styles. She has been actively releasing her own music since around 2021 and also works as a member of the jazz department at Istanbul University. Canay is recognized not just for her captivating vocals but also for her skills on keyboards, drums, and percussion, often accompanying other artists in live and studio settings. One of her notable collaborations is with Sababa 5, a group known for their unique mix of Middle Eastern psych, funk, and disco; together, they created tracks like "Bigâne" and "Namdar," which combine dreamy synths with funk grooves and address themes like existential depression and the superficiality of casual friendships.
