Glueleg

Glueleg is a Canadian alternative rock band formed in 1990 by Carlos Alonso and Ruben Huizenga in Toronto, Ontario. The band's early lineup also included Blake Howard, Andrew Wyse, Bob Mackowycz, and Christian Simpson. Known for their unique sound, Glueleg blended alternative rock with art-rock elements, incorporating instruments like the Chapman Stick, saxophone, and trumpet into their music. Their discography includes albums such as "Angst" (1991), "Heroic Doses" (1994), and "Clodhopper" (1997), with "Heroic Doses" being particularly notable for its hit singles "Heroic Doses," "Come With Me," and "Mr. Pink." The band's music was praised for its innovative blend of genres and its ability to integrate pop culture references.

After disbanding in 1998, Glueleg reformed in 2023 with original members Carlos Alonso and Christian Simpson, releasing a new album titled "Horror Vacui." This album features 20 tracks, each accompanied by Christian Simpson's artwork, offering a fresh yet nostalgic experience for fans and new listeners alike. The band's return to the music scene highlights their enduring creativity and dedication to their craft.
