Pony the Pirate

Pony the Pirate is a Norwegian pop-rock band that gained recognition after winning the Årets Urørt competition in 2009 with their song "Walk the Shame". The band released their debut album "This Is Our Psychopedia!" in January 2010 on Sony Music. Several of their songs, including "Walk the Shame," "Psychopedia," and "Sing," were featured prominently on NRK P3 radio in 2009-2010. The group performed at major Norwegian music festivals in 2009 and 2010, including Hovefestivalen, Øyafestivalen, and Norwegian Wood.

After going on hiatus in late 2010 with an almost completed album, Pony the Pirate resumed activities in 2015 with a reduced lineup. Their discography includes the EP "This Is My Psychopedia!" (2009), the full-length album "This Is Our Psychopedia!" (2010), and the maxi-single "Dangerous" (2015).
