Loso

Loso is a Thai rock band formed in 1994 in Bangkok, Thailand. The band is fronted by singer-guitarist-composer Seksan Sukpimai, also known as Sek Loso. The name "Loso" is a playful take on the Thai slang "hi-so," meaning high society, reflecting the band's humble origins. Loso gained significant popularity in Thailand and was one of the first Thai bands to achieve international recognition, performing at festivals like South By Southwest and Glastonbury. Their music style blends indie rock with traditional Thai melodies, and they have released several successful albums, including *Lo-Society*, *Entertainment*, *Red Bike*, *Rock & Roll*, and *Losoland*. The band disbanded in 2003 but reformed later.

Some of their notable releases include *Lo-Society*, *Entertainment* (which sold over two million copies), *จักรยานสีแดง* (*Red Bike*), *Rock & Roll*, and *Losoland*. Loso's success was marked by their unique sound and significant sales figures in Thailand, with many albums selling over a million copies. After disbanding, Seksan Sukpimai continued his career as Sek Loso until the band's reunion in 2020.
