William T. Stromberg

William T. Stromberg is a highly respected composer and conductor known for his vivid film scores and dedicated work with classic Hollywood film music. Born in Oceanside, California, in 1964, he grew up in a family of filmmakers and began studying composition by age 11. Stromberg has composed music for a variety of films, including the acclaimed documentary *Trinity and Beyond: The Atomic Bomb Movie* (1995), and has conducted numerous recordings of forgotten and classic film scores from Hollywood's Golden Age. He is particularly known for his role in reconstructing and revitalizing scores by legendary composers such as Max Steiner, Erich Wolfgang Korngold, Alfred Newman, and Bernard Herrmann, often collaborating with his artistic partner John W. Morgan in projects released on labels like Marco Polo and Tribute Film Classics. Beyond film music, he has also worked extensively with concert music by American composers, demonstrating a passion for preserving and sharing neglected musical treasures.

Stromberg has a diverse career that includes touring with the rock band Yes during their 'Yes Symphonic Tour' in 2001, where he conducted the orchestra and composed the overture. He has contributed his talents to various other projects such as orchestrating and conducting for TV series and films, including *Legally Blonde*, *Batman: The Animated Series*, and *Northern Exposure*. He is married to Anna Bonn, with whom he has collaborated musically. William also comes from a creative family that includes his brother Robert Stromberg, a noted visual effects artist. His sons, Wesley and Keaton Stromberg, are musicians as well, known for their band Emblem3.
