T. Gowdy

T. Gowdy, whose full name is Timothy Gowdy, is a Canadian electronic musician and audiovisual artist based in Berlin. He began his career as a singer with the American Boychoir in Princeton, New Jersey, before studying classical guitar and earning a Master's degree in Sound Recording from Montreal's Schulich School of Music. Following his graduation in 2007, Gowdy worked as a freelance producer and sound engineer, contributing to over seventy albums for artists like Ensemble and SUUNS. His solo career took off with the release of his debut album *B-Stock* in 2018, followed by *Vitrify Kate* and *Pachira Aquatica* in the same year and 2019, respectively. He has since released several notable albums, including *Therapy With Colour* in 2020 and *Miracles* in 2022.

Gowdy's work often explores the intersection of sound and visual art, with a focus on sound feedback and the deconstruction of urban sonic environments. He has performed at various festivals and galleries, including MUTEK in Montreal and Barcelona, and has been involved in projects like the *Forward Feed* installation and sound design for the documentary *Atalaya*. His recent releases reflect his continued innovation in electronic and experimental music.
