P.F.M.

Premiata Forneria Marconi (PFM) is one of Italy's most influential progressive rock bands, known for blending symphonic elements with jazz, classical, and folk influences. Originally formed in the early 1970s, they quickly gained international recognition with albums like *Photos of Ghosts* and *The World Became the World*, which featured English lyrics produced by King Crimson's Pete Sinfield. Their intricate musicianship, dynamic compositions, and willingness to experiment made them one of the few Italian prog bands to achieve success beyond their home country, particularly in the UK and US. Over the decades, PFM has continued to evolve, maintaining their reputation as pioneers of progressive rock.
