Laurell Barker, known professionally as Laurell, is a Canadian singer and songwriter currently based in Malmö, Sweden. She's made a name for herself in the music industry not just as a performer, but also as a prolific songwriter. Laurell has co-written songs for numerous well-known artists, including Twice, Eleni Foureira, and Oh My Girl. She's also gained recognition for her work in the Eurovision Song Contest, becoming the first female songwriter to have three songs competing in a Eurovision final in 2019.
In addition to her songwriting success, Laurell has been releasing her own music as a solo artist. Some of her recent singles include "Habit" and "Sober," which have charted in countries like Sweden and Germany.
