Adam Again

Adam Again was an alternative rock band from Southern California that developed a strong cult following throughout the late '80s and early '90s. Fronted by the late Gene Eugene—singer, songwriter, producer, and overall creative powerhouse—the band was known for blending funk, rock, and soul with deeply introspective lyrics and spiritual undertones. Adam Again was part of the Christian alternative scene, though their sound and message often transcended easy categorization.

Albums like Dig, Homeboys, and Perfecta showcased the band's soulful grooves and Gene Eugene’s poignant, sometimes haunting lyricism. Eugene was also a key figure in the alt-Christian music scene of the era, co-founding the influential record label Brainstorm Artists Intl. Tragically, Eugene passed away in 2000, which marked the end of Adam Again, but the band’s music continues to resonate with fans who appreciate their thoughtful artistry and genre-defying sound.
