Morphlexis

Morphlexis, born Benjamin Esterlis, is a multi-talented artist from northern Israel. He emerged from the independent music and art scene in Jerusalem in the late 90s, with his first two LPs released by Fact Records, a label that significantly impacted Israel's alternative music landscape. Morphlexis combines analog synths, vintage organs, and electronic sounds with acoustic warmth, often accompanied by guitars and repetitive rock drums. He is known for his warm vocals and introspective lyrics. As a solo act, Morphlexis plays all the instruments, records, mixes, and produces his albums himself. His style navigates between acoustic and electronic music, deeply rooted in the singer/songwriter genre.

Over the years, Morphlexis has released three full albums and two experimental instrumental EPs. He continues to be active in the music scene, performing with a backing trio at various festivals and venues in Israel. His prolific creativity extends beyond music, as he is also a plastic and video artist, engaged in multiple artistic pursuits. Currently, he is working on his fourth full-length album. Morphlexis's diverse releases showcase his versatility and innovative approach to music.
