Gil Shaham

Gil Shaham is an acclaimed American violinist known for his warm tone, effortless technique, and deep musical insight. Born in 1971 in Urbana, Illinois, and raised in Israel, Shaham began playing the violin at a young age and quickly rose to prominence after winning the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant in 1990.
