Ali Matthews
Ali Matthews is a Canadian contemporary Christian musician and songwriter from Stratford, Ontario. She began her career as a performing artist in her teens and released her debut album, *Patchwork*, in 2000. Matthews collaborates with guitarist and co-producer Rick Francis, and occasionally performs with a seven-piece band known as The Good China. Her musical style often reflects a deep spiritual component, as seen in albums like *Window of Light* and *Looking for Christmas*. She has received numerous awards, including fifteen Gospel Music Association Canada Covenant Awards, showcasing her significant impact in the Canadian Christian music scene.
Some of her notable works include *So Shall We Love: Songs of Worship and Faith*, *Looking for Christmas*, and *Window of Light*, which demonstrate her versatility and thematic depth. Recently, she released *Together Again (A Song from Isolation)*, written during the pandemic. Matthews continues to expand her musical repertoire, blending faith and introspection with contemporary styles.
