Born in 1962 in Surabaya, East Java, she was part of the duo AriReda with Ari Malibu, known for setting the poetry of Sapardi Djoko Damono to music. AriReda gained popularity for its soulful ballads inspired by Indonesian poetry. After Ari Malibu's passing in 2018, Reda continued her career in music and writing. As a writer, she has published several children's books, including "The Adventures of Na Willa," which was translated into English and showcased at the London Book Fair. Reda Gaudiamo's recent musical projects reflect her eclectic style, incorporating elements of soul and personal storytelling.
