Malome Vector, born Bokang Moleli, was a Lesotho-born rapper and singer-songwriter who made waves in the South African music scene. He began his musical journey at 14, writing songs and later delving into production. Vector's unique style blended Afropop elements with rap, often performing in Sesotho. He gained significant recognition after signing with Ambitiouz Entertainment in 2020 and relocating to South Africa.
Vector's breakthrough came with his 2019 single "Dumelang," featuring Blaq Diamond, which became a commercial success. His debut album "Karabo," released in 2022, topped the iTunes South Africa charts. Sadly, Malome Vector's promising career was cut short when he passed away on July 24, 2024, at the age of 32, following a car accident. Despite his untimely death, Vector's impact on the music scene and his dedication to showcasing his Sotho heritage through his art left a lasting legacy.
