4 de Copes was a vibrant Spanish rock band hailing from Formentera, known for their catchy pop-rock sound and lyrics sung in Catalan. Formed in 2000, the band quickly made a name for themselves, releasing their self-titled debut album in 2002 and gaining wider recognition with their subsequent releases, including *Plens d'arena* in 2008 and *No puc parar* in 2010. Their music often reflected a blend of local influences, and they were celebrated for their engaging live performances.
The group enjoyed a fruitful career until they disbanded in 2012 after the release of their album *1, 2, 3 ja!* They often collaborated with local talents, enhancing their connection to the island's music scene. Following the band's split, lead vocalist and songwriter Maria José Cardona formed the singer-songwriter duo Imaràntia, continuing to make waves in the music world.
