Nikos Vertis

Nikos Vertis, born Nikolaos Arvanitidis on August 21, 1976, in Gorinchem, Netherlands, is a renowned Greek singer. His family moved to Thessaloniki, Greece, when he was six years old. Vertis began playing the bouzouki at seven and started singing at fifteen. After a brief return to the Netherlands for high school, he came back to Greece for military service and then pursued a career in music. He gained popularity singing in clubs in Thessaloniki and eventually moved to Athens, where he became a prominent figure in the Greek music scene.

Vertis's career took off in 2003 when he signed with Universal Music Greece and released his debut album, *Poli Apotoma Vradiazei*. He has since released several successful albums and singles, earning him a large fan base. Some of his most popular songs include "Thelo Na Me Niosis," "Fige," and "An M’ Agapises." Vertis is known for his powerful voice and has been celebrated for his contributions to Greek music, with hits like "Thelo Na Me Niosis" achieving significant milestones on platforms like YouTube.
