Ian Coury is a talented Brazilian musician from Brasília, known for his mastery of the 10-string bandolim (Brazilian mandolin). Born in 2002, he began playing at a young age and has quickly become one of Brazil's most respected virtuosos. Coury has shared stages with legendary figures like Armandinho, Hamilton de Holanda, Toninho Horta, and Paquito D’Rivera. He has received several awards, including "Best Instrumentalist" at the National FM Radio Festival in 2020 and second place at Brazil's eFestival in 2021. Coury has also studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he received the String Department Award.
