rourourourous is a Japanese band formed in Tokyo in 2012, centered around vocalist Momi. The group features Daiki Okuno on keyboard, Flidais Miki (formerly known as Konomi Miki) on violin, Atsushi Kobayashi on guitar, Haruna Ishigaki on bass, and Shin Watanabe on drums. They debuted with their first album "Shikisokuzekuu" (色即是空) in 2014 and solidified their current lineup by 2015. Their second album, titled "rourourourous" (ルルルルズ), came out in 2017 and earned them considerable acclaim among music enthusiasts. Following that, their 2019 release "Bokura no Umareta Machi" (僕らの生まれた町) further established their reputation, highlighted by a memorable solo concert at Motion Blue Yokohama.

The band is known for blending thoughtful lyrics with cohesive band sounds to create a unique and immersive musical world. Their compositions primarily come from Daiki Okuno, with lyrics written by Atsushi Kobayashi. rourourourous has attracted attention both domestically and internationally, gaining a growing fanbase in the United States and beyond. In 2024, they announced a new album titled "ひとびと" (Hitobito), featuring ten tracks that showcase a fresh evolution of their sound, with contributions from longtime collaborators like recording engineer Kosuke Nakamura and photographer Mai Komura.
