MoHa! was a Norwegian experimental noise rock duo that shook up the 2000s underground scene with their chaotic, high-energy fusion of free jazz, electronics, and punk intensity. Formed in 2005 by guitarist/electronics wizard Anders Hana and drummer/electronic percussionist Morten J. Olsen, the pair became notorious for live shows that felt like controlled demolition derbies of sound. Their discography—including releases like *Raus Aus Stavanger* (2007) and *Norwegianism* (2009)—blurred boundaries between improvisation and composition, earning them a cult following among fans of avant-garde rock.
Active until around 2015, MoHa! collaborated with noise artists like Lasse Marhaug and released music through labels such as Smalltown Supersound and Rune Grammofon. Their final album, *One-Way Ticket to Candyland* (2010), encapsulated their signature blend of skronky guitars, frenetic rhythms, and glitchy digital interference. Though no longer active, MoHa! left a lasting mark as pioneers of Norway’s “radical music” scene, proving that organized chaos could be thrillingly listenable.
