Rıza Kılıç is a Turkish musician known for his work within the baglama music genre, which is a traditional Turkish folk music style characterized by its emotional and expressive melodies. Born on June 21, 1980, in Ankara, Rıza Kılıç began playing the bağlama at a young age and pursued his musical education in Istanbul. He attended Haliç University's Conservatory but left after a year to further his studies at ITÜ TMDK, from which he graduated in 2006. During his career, Kılıç collaborated with numerous artists on concerts and album projects, also working as an arranger and director for various albums. His personal musical projects focused on developing new playing techniques for the bağlama. Unfortunately, he passed away on December 31, 2010, before completing his solo album, which was intended to highlight his own compositions.
