Na Casaidigh

**Na Casaidigh** (pronounced "Na Cass-idge") are a lively Irish family band made up of seven brothers from the Gaelic-speaking Gaeltacht region of Gweedore, County Donegal. Known for their tight harmonies and mastery of traditional instruments like the fiddle, tin whistle, and bodhrán, the Cassidys have been sharing Ireland’s musical heritage since the 1980s. Their dad, a schoolteacher and musician, sparked their love for Irish culture, and they’ve grown into ambassadors of folk music, blending classic tunes with fresh energy.

Recent releases like *Fead an Iolair* (“The Eagle’s Whistle”) and *Irish Childhood Songs* highlight their knack for storytelling through both Irish and English lyrics, while *1691* nods to historical themes rooted in their homeland. Beyond the studio, they’ve charmed global audiences (even performing for U.S. presidents!) and popped up on Irish TV, keeping the spirit of trad alive with every jig and ballad. Family, fun, and fierce talent—that’s Na Casaidigh in a nutshell. 🍀
