The band consists of Alison MacNeil (vocals, guitars, production), Gylfi Blöndal (bass, baritone guitar, and guitar), and Kjartan Bragi Bjarnason (drums and percussion). Their music often blends elements of indie rock with complex soundscapes, creating a unique blend that defies easy categorization. Kimono has released several notable albums, including "mineur-aggressif," "Arctic Death Ship," and "Easy Music for Difficult People," which received significant acclaim in Iceland and beyond. The band's style is characterized by its eclectic mix of rock and experimental influences, making them a standout in the indie music scene.
