Miklós Spányi is a distinguished Hungarian keyboardist, renowned for his deep foray into the works of Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, one of the most influential composers of the 18th century. Born into a musical family, Spányi's artistic journey began at an early age, and he has since developed into a consummate musician with a particularly strong affinity for historically informed performance. A graduate of the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest and the Sweelinck Conservatorium in Amsterdam, Spányi has studied under eminent figures such as Ferenc Rados and Jos van Immerseel.

Spányi's dedication to C.P.E. Bach's oeuvre is nothing short of monumental; he has embarked on the ambitious project of recording all of Bach's solo keyboard music. This series, released through BIS Records, has reached over 40 volumes and continues to earn acclaim for its scholarly rigor and Spányi’s exquisite musicianship.
