Maneating Orchid is a sludge metal band from Portland, Oregon. Formed in 2014, the band has released three full-length albums: "Hive Mind" (2016), "Miasma" (2018), and "Orchid" (2020). Their music is characterized by its heavy, distorted guitars, pounding drums, and guttural vocals. Maneating Orchid has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with bands such as Eyehategod, Crowbar, and Acid Bath.
