We As Human, an American Christian rock band renowned for their dynamic and hard-hitting style, made a significant impact on the music scene with their major-label debut. Originating from Sandpoint, Idaho, the band came into existence in 2006. The group consisted of lead vocalist Justin Cordle, guitarists Jake Jones and Justin Forshaw, bassist Dave Draggoo, and drummer Adam Osborne. They initially grabbed the attention of their audience with their independently released projects before catching the eye of John Cooper, the lead vocalist of Skillet, which led to their signing with Atlantic Records via Hear it Loud, a label imprint founded by Cooper, in 2011.
Their self-titled major-label debut album, "We As Human," was released in 2013, featuring standout tracks like "Strike Back" and "We Fall Apart," which swiftly earned them a dedicated following and critical acclaim within the Christian rock community. Prior to this, they tantalized their fans with the "We As Human EP," which showcased their knack for blending gritty guitar riffs with anthemic choruses, leading to a fervent base of supporters. Notably, the band was adept at using their music as a platform to explore themes of human struggle, redemption, and faith, resonating with many listeners and earning them a respected position in the genre before they disbanded in 2016.
