Sirpy, born Narayanan on May 25, 1962, is a renowned Indian film score and soundtrack composer. He has primarily worked in the Tamil film industry, with contributions to Telugu and Malayalam films as well. Sirpy's career in music composition began in 1992 with the film "Shenbaga Thottam" and has since spanned over 50 films. Some of his notable works include "Ullathai Allitha," "Nattamai," and "Unnai Ninaithu," for which he won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Music Director in 2002. He also received the prestigious Kalaimamani Award in 1997. In addition to composing, Sirpy has sung a few of his own compositions.
