Kylähullut (translation: "Village Idiots") is a raucous Finnish punk side project formed in 2004 by members of established bands, most notably HIM's Ville Valo on drums under the pseudonym "Ville Vallo." This deliberately crude, beer-soaked act delivers blistering 30-second punk bursts filled with toilet humor, absurdist satire, and lyrics about topics like public sauna etiquette. Their discography – including releases like *Peräaukko sivistyksessä* ("Asshole in Civilization") and *Turpa täynnä* ("Mouth Full") – revels in juvenile mischief, often parodying Finnish culture through intentionally sloppy riffs and shouted vocals. While the members maintain anonymity with aliases like "Mikkö Happovalo," their cult following recognizes the project as a playful escape from their main bands' seriousness, best enjoyed with zero pretension and maybe a case of cheap lager.
