KP Hawthorn

KP Hawthorn is a versatile singer-songwriter known for her rich vocals and heartfelt storytelling deeply rooted in California Country and Americana sounds. She was a founding member of CALICO the band, which released *Rancho California* in 2014, and also co-founded the Americana duo The HawtThorns with her husband, Johnny Hawthorn. Recently, KP stepped into the solo spotlight with her debut album *Til the Glitter End*, where she revisits songs from her earlier projects with fresh, shimmering production that blends rock ballads and pop sensibilities, featuring collaborations like Rosie Flores on guitar.

Her music career spans songwriting, performing, and producing, including founding Mulekick Records and creating a documentary on California Country music. Known for combining West Coast roots with Nashville polish, KP continues to forge a unique space in the Americana scene, honoring her influences while crafting modern, emotionally resonant tunes.
