The Cherry Coke$

**The Cherry Coke$** are a vibrant 6-piece folk punk band from Tokyo, Japan, formed in 1999 by lead vocalist Katsuo. Known for their eclectic blend of traditional instruments like the accordion, tin whistle, banjo, and bouzouki, they create a unique sound that spans from lively sing-alongs to melancholic ballads. The band's lineup includes Katsuo (vocals/banjo), Masaya (guitar/bouzouki), LF (bass/bodhrán), Suzuyo (tin whistle/alto saxophone), Mutsumi (accordion), and Toshi (drums).

Over the years, The Cherry Coke$ have gained international recognition, supporting notable bands like Flogging Molly and Rancid on their Japanese tours. They have also performed at major festivals such as Fuji Rock and Punk Spring. In 2007, they joined Flogging Molly's U.S. tour, playing from Florida to California. In 2017, they participated in Flogging Molly's Salty Dog Cruise, further expanding their global presence. The band has released nine original albums, including recent titles like **OLDFOX** and **THE ANSWER**.
