Babatunde Okungbowa, better known as OJB Jezreel, was a renowned Nigerian music producer and artist. Born on July 4, 1966, in Lagos, Nigeria, he began his music career in 1986, producing beats in his neighborhood. OJB Jezreel is celebrated for his contributions to the African music scene, particularly in R&B and hip-hop. He produced iconic albums and singles, including 2face Idibia's "Face 2 Face," which featured the hit track "African Queen." His work also influenced artists like RuggedMan, Wizkid, and D'banj. OJB Jezreel was known for his versatility and impact on the music industry, earning him the nickname "Mr. Versatile." He passed away on June 14, 2016, after battling acute kidney failure.

OJB Jezreel's legacy extends beyond his own music, as he was a mentor and inspiration to many young artists. His son, Ayo Jezreel, continues his musical legacy. OJB Jezreel's music often reflected his deep faith, and his songs were frequently sampled by other artists, ensuring his influence remains in the music industry.
