Délcio Luiz is a renowned Brazilian samba and pagode singer-songwriter. His career began in 1987 when he joined the group Só Preto sem Preconceito. He later became part of Grupo Raça and notably performed with Kiloucura between 1998 and 2000. Délcio Luiz is celebrated for composing numerous successful songs for various groups, including Karametade, Negritude Junior, and Exaltasamba. He has collaborated with artists like Ferrugem and Molejo, creating memorable tracks that blend traditional samba with contemporary pagode styles.
Délcio Luiz has also had a brief stint with the iconic group Fundo de Quintal. In 2019, he released a DVD celebrating his 30-year career, featuring special guests like Ferrugem and Molejo.
