Samwyse

Samwyse, born Sam Girardot in November 1996, is a multi-talented artist, producer, engineer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Northeast Washington D.C. Growing up in a musical family, he developed his love for music at an early age and was introduced to recording in high school, thanks to his cousin in the band The Revivalists. After honing his craft further at Loyola University in New Orleans, where he studied Audio Engineering and Production, Samwyse has become known for his soulful R&B sound infused with personal vulnerability and creativity. He has collaborated with various artists and released a number of singles and albums including "It Starts With Us" and "GLIMMER," drawing inspiration from iconic artists like D’Angelo, Anderson .Paak, and Lauryn Hill.

Samwyse is recognized for his dedication both on stage and behind the scenes, spending countless hours mixing and mastering tracks to craft distinctive sounds for himself and others. His recent collaborative project "Grapefruit" exemplifies his skill in blending live instrumentation with modern beats and soulful melodies, reflecting his passion for musical expression and artistic growth. Known for his compelling performances and versatile musicality, Samwyse continues to make a mark in the R&B and soul scenes, touring extensively and building a loyal following.
