Bergen Wind Quintet is a Norwegian wind quintet founded in 1978. The group consists of five musicians: flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, and horn. They are known for their virtuosic playing and their wide-ranging repertoire, which includes both classical and contemporary works. The quintet has performed extensively throughout Norway and internationally, and has released several critically acclaimed recordings.
In addition to their concert activities, Bergen Wind Quintet is also committed to education and outreach.
