Michał Sławecki is a Polish composer and conductor who has made a significant contribution to the world of classical music. Born in 1949, Sławecki studied composition and conducting at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. He has since gone on to conduct some of the world's most prestigious orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic, and the Berlin Philharmonic.
