Eydie Gormé
Eydie Gormé was an American singer known for her rich, velvety voice and versatility across genres. Born in New York City in 1928, she rose to fame in the 1950s as part of the Steve and Eydie duo with her husband, Steve Lawrence. Their smooth harmonies and romantic ballads made them a beloved act in Las Vegas and on television. Gormé also had a successful solo career, releasing numerous albums and singles that showcased her vocal prowess and her love for Latin music, particularly bossa nova.
