Stracciari’s career thrived on stages like La Scala and the Metropolitan Opera, where he charmed audiences with iconic performances as Figaro in *The Barber of Seville*, Rigoletto, and Germont in *La Traviata*. His recordings, like those featured in the *Lebendige Vergangenheit* series, preserve his expressive phrasing and velvety tone, showcasing why he’s considered one of the great baritones of his era.
