Miku Nishimoto-Neubert

Miku Nishimoto-Neubert is a Japanese pianist born in Tokyo, Japan. She began playing the piano at a young age and pursued her studies at the State University of Music and Fine Arts in Tokyo (Geidai). Her talent was recognized by Professor Karl-Heinz Kämmerling, who invited her to continue her training in Europe at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hannover. She completed her studies there in 2001 with a concert exam. Throughout her career, Nishimoto-Neubert has received several awards in international piano competitions, including the Concurso Internacional de Musica da Cidade do Porto in Portugal and the Johann Sebastian Bach Competition in Leipzig. She is known for her solo performances and collaborations with singers and instrumentalists, and since 2002, she has been a lecturer in piano accompaniment at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich.

Nishimoto-Neubert's recent releases highlight her focus on classical repertoire, with albums featuring works by Bach, Mendelssohn, and Mendelssohn-Hensel. Her performances showcase a deep understanding of these composers' works, reflecting her extensive training and experience in the classical music world. Her dedication to both solo performances and accompaniment underscores her versatility as a pianist.
