Paula Cavalciuk

Paula Cavalciuk is a Brazilian singer and songwriter from Tapiraí, São Paulo. She initially gained attention after moving to Sorocaba in 2005, where she formed the duo 2Friends with Vinícius Lima. Paula later pursued a solo career, releasing her debut EP, *Mapeia*, in 2015, followed by her first full-length album, *Morte & Vida*, in 2016. This album and her work earned her recognition, including a nomination for the APCA Award as Emerging Artist in 2016. After a hiatus, Paula returned in 2024 with the album *Pangeia*, blending pop, blues, and traditional Brazilian styles like viola caipira. *Pangeia* was recorded while she was pregnant, marking a significant personal and artistic milestone for the artist.

Throughout her career, Paula Cavalciuk has explored various musical genres, from pop to MPB (Brazilian Popular Music), often incorporating elements of her diverse influences. Her music often reflects a deep emotional and personal journey, as seen in her critically acclaimed works. In addition to her music, Cavalciuk has also been recognized for her talents in other artistic ventures, but these are not well-documented in her music career. Her return with *Pangeia* signals a continued evolution in her musical expression.
